Analysis Of Common Problems Of Horizontal Adjustment Wheel

01.Surface treatment of caster brackets
In the market, the most common bracket colors are divided into two types: silver and black. Silver is electroplated with a layer of zinc or chromium to make the bracket silver. Black is generally electrophoretic technology to make the bracket black. Another high-end caster uses powder spraying technology, and the color can be customized according to customer needs. Of course, the price is relatively high. Whether it is electroplating technology, electrophoresis technology or powder spraying technology, the purpose is to prevent the surface of the bracket from rusting.

02.What are the general ways to brake casters?
The brakes of casters can be roughly divided into three types according to their functions: wheel brakes, direction brakes, and double brakes.
a. Wheel brakes: It is easy to understand that it is a device installed on the wheel sleeve or the surface of the wheel and operated by hand or foot. The operation is to step on it, the wheel cannot rotate, but it can turn.
b. Brake direction: Brake direction is used in the universal wheel to turn the universal wheel into a directional wheel to keep it in the same direction.
c. Double brakes can both lock the wheel movement and fix the wave plate rotation.

03. Do iron core wheels and cast iron wheels bear more weight than other wheels?
No, the process technology makes the injection molded wheels have the same load-bearing capacity.

04. Are rubber wheels (ER wheels) softer than polyurethane wheels (PU wheels)?
Not necessarily. The hardness of the material can be adjusted. Some manufacturers' rubber wheels are harder than nylon wheels, so rubber casters also have hard rubber and soft rubber. When buying casters, if there is no requirement, soft rubber is assumed.

05. Double bearings are more stable than single bearings, and single bearings rotate faster?
Double bearings are used in high-end products, and their stability, quietness and load-bearing capacity are stronger than single bearings. Single bearings are a simplified version of double bearings. Although their performance is not as good as double bearings, they are cheaper.

06. How is the size of casters calculated?
When we buy casters, we always mention how big the size is. The size unit here is inches, not "inches" in my country. Generally, the conversion is the size of inches divided by 25, which is the inch in my country. For example, a caster with a diameter of 50 inches is 2 inches.
