1. Determine based on the bearing capacity of the foot cup:
The amount of weight allocated to each foot cup is the first element of selection, and the load-bearing capacity of a single foot cup is calculated according to the following formula:
T=(E+Z)/N × S
---T=Required weight for a single foot cup
---E=Equipment self weight
---Z=maximum load
---N=number of foot cups required
---S=safety factor (usually 1.25 or above)
Then, based on the calculation results and product detailed parameters, the foot cup that needs to bear the weight can be found.
2. Select based on the usage environment and location:
1) The workplace and usage environment are the second factors to consider, and we need to choose different foot cups for different usage environments# Zhu Yilong accompanies in 2019#
2) For corrosive locations, foot cups made of stainless steel materials with better corrosion resistance should be selected.
3) For pharmaceutical and food factory workshops, foot cup products made of easier to clean and environmentally friendly materials should be selected.
4) For gaming equipment in children's places, it is recommended to choose products with better stress and increased product safety factor (1.35 or above is recommended).
5) For all workplaces with a certain inclination or equipment with high requirements for ground level, universal foot cups should be selected.
6) For high-temperature working conditions, all carbon steel or all stainless steel products should be selected, and foot cups with rubber cushion bases are prohibited.
7) For working conditions with motor operation and vibration during operation, foot cups with rubber shock pads should be selected, or
8) Choose shockproof foot cups with rubber bases.
3. Determine based on stroke adjustment:
When using foot cups on industrial equipment, casters are usually used at the same time. In the absence of special requirements and design, the total height of the foot cup should be at least 35mm higher than the installation height of the casters, in order to have an adjustment stroke of approximately 15mm.
